Please be aware that a nationwide change to ticketing for archaeological sites and museums in Greece took effect in April 2025, leading to higher admission prices. In Crete, this means many sites now cost considerably more; for example, the entry fee for Knossos saw a significant increase. Furthermore, the previous winter discounts have been abolished (prices are now year-round), and multi-site combo passes are largely unavailable throughout Greece, impacting the overall cost of visiting cultural attractions, including those on Crete.
