9th Festos Run: A Journey Through History and Landscape

The 9th Festos Run on September 27-28, 2025, combines sport with the cultural landscape of southern Crete. Organized by the Cultural Associations of Kalamaki, Kamilari, and Agios Ioannis, the event features routes from the Phaistos archaeological site to Kalamaki. The main 8km race starts at Phaistos, passing through Agios Ioannis and Kamilari. A 4km run/hike begins in Kamilari, and a 1km children's race is held in Kalamaki. A portion of proceeds supports the "TO MELLON" association.
