Team Assembled

After multiple failed attempts due to weather, the remaining members of the core abduction team – Captain W. Stanley Moss, Georgios Tyrakis, and Emmanouil Paterakis – finally arrived in Crete on April 4, 1944. They landed by motor launch on the southern coast at Tsoutsoura, reuniting with Leigh Fermor and enabling the final preparations and reconnaissance for the operation to commence.
